About this song
After releasing music for six years straight, doing therapy for my cPTSD I've decided this year to not burn myself out and really focus inward on what I need. 'Too Heavy' is me being candid about what is going on beneath the surface a lot of the days. It's a peek behind the curtain in my psyche as I try to build something new and exciting in 2024 and beyond. It's why I'm changing strategies this year and not putting as much pressure on myself like I used to do because life, for me, often is 'Too Heavy'.
