One life.
A lot of sound.
Thomas Geelens is a Dutch independent artist, songwriter and producer from Maastricht. The catalogue never stayed inside one genre. The constant is the voice: warm, direct and always carrying a real story.
The foundation was laid early. Growing up in Maastricht, his mother sat him behind a drum kit before he could choose for himself. He wanted guitar. The drums taught him rhythm; Slash, Mark Knopfler and John Mayer taught him melody, tone and storytelling.
In 2010, at twenty, melodies started arriving during a walk through Central Park faster than he could write them down. He came home, quit his job at Game Mania in Wyck and went all in on music. No backup plan.
Since 2018 that decision has become 75+ releases and more than 60 million streams: piano ballads, country, singer-songwriter, pop, rhythm-driven afro-pop and deep house through Golden Hour Motel. Written, recorded and produced across one restless creative life.
Today, much of that restless creative work comes together at Lifthill Studio. Thomas works across a growing mix of projects where technology and music meet: records, digital products, interactive experiences and the systems that help creative ideas become real.
That makes the Game Mania chapter come full circle. Game developers can use Thomas' music without a sync fee. Find the track that gives your world a pulse, get in touch and build something memorable together.
"One voice. Many genres. Yours to build with."
